Version Differences (Izuna 1)
|Sigh I've added everything I could think of an this article is still a stub. Will you help the Izuna: The Unemployed Ninja Wiki by expanding it?|
Version Differences denotes all differences between the original Japanese release of Izuna 1 and the North American and European releases.
Title[edit | edit source]
The North American release of Izuna 1 was licensed to Atlus and the European version was licensed to 505 Games. Due to this, the European version has a different title than the north American release.
North America: Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja
Europe: Izuna: Legend of the Ninja
Cover Art[edit | edit source]
Aside from the selection of logos and placement on the title screen, the North American and European versions of the cover art feature Izuna slightly higher than the original Japanese release.
Cartridge Differences[edit | edit source]
Title Screen[edit | edit source]
Aside from the different logos, the original Japanese title screen only lists the copyright info while the North American and European versions list additional details such as the licencees. The European text had to be smaller to accommodate the longer name of the licencee as well.
Start up differences[edit | edit source]
The North American and European versions feature an extra title card on startup that isn't present in the original Japanese release. The text "Licensed by Nintendo" is smaller in the European release.
